Yey :) A kh soap dish in the making !

I searched all over the place for the dish for my soap. Many were too fancy, too big, too small, made of plastic or the color was not right for what I wanted. I even thought about venturing to Imari ware in Japan. Though the idea was attractive until I found out the shipping cost, and how long the shipping would take.

So, I decided to look into my own neighborhood for solution.

Here is the plaster mold my local ceramic company "ceramic hobbyist" made for me,

When I made original model I had no idea that liquid clay-slip will shrink while

drying and firing, as much as 14 percent :o.

So went back to the drawing board and got it

right second time.

I am waiting for khstudio's very own soap dish!
